Can Pets Fall in Love?

I know this is stupid but sometimes when my cat cudddles up to me, I wonder..Do you think pets can fall in love. Can they fall in love with their owners?! You kiss them, snuggle them, sleep in the same bed at night..hmm..what do you think?

i have a cat too and sometimes it's nice to me and cuddles up to me too; however, most of the time this lasts about 2 mins before the cat attacks me for no reason. i'm not sure if animals can fall in love with thier owners, but if they can then they would forget about it in about 2 mins. short term memory.

ohhh short term memory, I forgot about that *blushes* yeah my cat is kinda like that. Only sucks up when he wants something haha. But my boyfriends cats are very affectionate and you cant keep them off you and all they want to do is snuggle!..so I wondered...lol
