You mean TV license, is it?
I remember when I was young, we need to pay for the TV license, but I don't know how much it cost. Now, we do not need to pay this anymore.
By the way, I'm from Malaysia.
How about your country?

Dear kaka135, tks for your comments and share your view with us.you are very lucky, yes, we should pay cable TV fee about 2$ in China, also I can watch TV in my computer, but you know ,for using internet I should pay 8$ per month. but if for local TV ,we are free changed.but only 5 sets programs can be selected.

In our country India, there is no charge for viewing TV of National and Regional channels. But if you want to view commercial channels through dish/cable network it is paid. The amount ranges from $5-$8 permonth depending on how many channels you subscribe for.

No not in Australia, although there was a short time when we had to pay a TV licence fee, but it was so unpopular I think it may have been squashed around the time of an election or something, I think a lot of people cheated on it anyway as people will...:)
