Hi, i am 34 yr old working mother. My dream is to open my own business and resign from my work ( I can't do it now since the financial obligation is too much for by hubby to handle by himself alone)and spend more quality time with my 3 kids. The problem is that i don't know what kind of business i'm going to do. I have no marketing/financial background Ii'm from engineering background).Franchising is good but i think the fees to the franchisor is too much, and that we will be too dependent on the franchisor. Since i love books, I was thinking of having my own bookshop but i'm not sure on the profitability. Can you guys guide me /give some info on how to start my new business?
