Has anyone read a Lam-rim text?

I was wondering if there are any Tibetan Buddhists or others who have read a Lam-rim text here? I have the version by Pabonkga Rinpoche which I find is very good.
Have you read the Lam-rim commentary "essence of refined gold" by HH 3rd Dalai Lama? Very good aswell.
