I believe the two go hand-in-hand, one can easily lead to the other--especially if diligently practiced and reinforced.

Motivation facilitates action while inspiration is only kinda like a temporal spark. When you get motivated, you do stuff. But when you're simply inspired, you could just sit there daydreaming while the inspiration lasts.

Motivation is different from Inspiration. Motivation speaks of moving and getting moved to do one thing. Inspiration is a passive thing which just moves the mind internally. Cheers!!

If someone inspired me, it wouldn't necessarily get me motivated. Ispiration only makes a person think about something they would like or like to do. You have to get motivated and act upon things to actually make things happen. Motivation comes from people who want to succeed at whatever they are after. I can be inspired but if I am really not interested in whatever inspired me, then I will have no motivation for it. I get motivated only when I choose to go after something.
