Is the time you spend on mylot like a roller coaster?

What I mean when I say this is that does the amount of time that you spend on here change drastically from week to week, or even day to day? This pertains to me so much. I have noticed that one week I will post every night. I will spend hours on here and watch the number increase by my name. But then a week later I will notice that I didn't make as much as I had wanted, get a little discouraged, and then slow down a little bit. I am relatively new here, but already have seen myself to this 2 or 3 times. Its like the top and bottom of a roller coaster. One week I'll be at the top, with a ton of posts. The next week I'll be at the bottom, and posting maybe only one or two things a night. Does anyone else experience this? Do you agree with me that the time on mylot is like a roller coaster?
