Why wedding ring shopuld be put on the fourth finger?

Do you have an idea? Thumb represents the parents. Second finger represents your brothers and sisters. Third finger or middle finger represents own self. Fourth finger represents your partner. Little finger represents your children. Really interesting. Do you agree?

I actually know this one. I think the reason why the wedding ring is placed in the fourth finger of your left hand is because they say there is a nerve that connects your ring finger directly to the heart. That's why the wedding ring is placed there because the ring represents your partner and it should be closer to your heart, or something like that.

Hey thats some nice interestings things I didn't know about my hand. I was always wondering why the ring was on the left hand and the fourth finger I know alot of people in my family will find this interesting. Thanks for the info..

i didnt know fingers represent such except of course the fourth finger which symbolizes your partner. its interesting.
