When my lo was born we used Pampers Swaddlers, they worked soooo much better than the huggies ones. We used the swaddlers until he reached size 2, then we changed to huggies because it was cheaper at Costco. But now i'm thinking i'm willing to pay more for the pampers because the huggies are giving our baby a constant rash.

We use cloth diapers, my son doesn't get leaks or a rash in them. My favorite kind are fuzzi bunz, here's a link for them http://www.fuzzibunz.com/. I save a lot of money by using these and our future children can wear them too ;)

I heard that cloth diapers are a good way to save money on diapers, but I'm guessing you have to be a good laundry do-er because when you run out, you're in trouble. hahaha.
I HATE doing laundy, so I don't think they would work for me. Or do you use a diaper laundry service? One of my frieds used cloth diapers, but she had someone else wash and press them for her. - lucky, huh?

I always used Luvs for my kids. They were actually a bit cheaper, but they seemed to leak less than the other brands. I definitely would spend a bit more for diapers that don't leak or give the baby diaper rash. It is worth the extra money to have the baby comfortable.

We use both Pampers and Huggies on our son. Night time, we don't put him in Pampers, because he seems to get a rash then. During the day, he sometimes wears the Pampers Baby Dries, though. We bought a bunch of Cruisers for him, because we liked the way they fit when we got a couple of samples of them. Then they were on sale, so we bought like three big bags of them. Turns out he is allergic. We've tried them two different times, thinking maybe the first time it was possibly something he ate, but no, he's really allergic. So now we have them in a tote in the hall closet, hopefully our next baby won't have any problems with them. Otherwise we've wasted a lot of money.
We don't like the Huggies original line. I can't think of what it is called. We've recently started using the overnights on our son, though, and we like them so far. He wears them at bedtime and naptime most days. We also use Huggies Supreme. We've never had any leaking problems with them. I don't like the designs on them, though. They are too dark, and show through lighter colored clothing.
We've used Luvs in the past, too. We hated them when he was a newborn (we got a pack in the baby gift from my husband's commander). When we had our baby shower our son was already 4 months old, and someone gave him a pack then, too. We liked them fine. Then we bought some on sale later, and discovered that he needs a bigger size in them because he's too tall. They are shorter and wider than the Pampers and Huggies in the same size. My son is 33 inches tall, and weighs almost 26 lbs, so he definitely needs a diaper that is longer and thinner, instead of shorter and wider.

We have the regular Huggies and they are just not working for us. I got them because they were a better buy at Costco one day and they are just not worth the $$ saved. Recently we started giving our lo water, so he's increased the pee output and we've had leaks like there's no tomorrow. We are almost done with them, so I can't wait to get pampers. We haven't tried the huggies, but if they are shorter and wider, I don't think they'll work too well, since our little on is pretty tall too.

We used Huggies from newborn up to size 4. When DS started walking, they didn't hold leaks in anymore. We switched to Pampers Cruisers. I don't think I could switch now if I wanted to. DS loves the Sesame Street characters and requests different ones at each changing time. LOL!

I also used pampers for my daughter and I always use the easy up pants. I did try huggies but as you said huggies didn't absorb more as pampers and my daughter got a constant rash. But I found some interesting differences between pampers and huggies. Here, where I live, I found that pampers is better than huggies... but when I travelled to asia, huggies is much better than pampers. when I used pampers while I'm in asia, it didn't absorb as better as huggies. Funny fact, isn't it ?!? Seems like the have this quality differences in some countries. And I'd pay a bit more for diapers that is good for my daughter because I can't stand to see her pain from diaper rash. As far as I can remember, she had only one time with rash problem.

I have recently noticed that huggies are leaking the little absorbency balls. I'm not quite sure what they're called, but I'm been chaning my lo and have all of these tiny see thru balls, and let me tell you, they are a B and a half to wipe off!

I also prefer Pampers over Huggies. We have always used the Pampers Swaddlers until recently. My husband bought like 5 packs of Huggies because they were on sale, and I really don't like them. As soon as we finish these packs we will go back to using Pampers. I think Pampers fit to the body better and are more absorbent. The Huggies that my husband bought have designs all over them, and you can see the design through some of my daughter's clothes. I hate that! The Pampers have a much more plain design.

I have always preferred pampers over any other brand. I used to own a day-care so I've seen alot of brands. There is one cheaper brand that I did like. It was white cloud diapers they are avaiable at wal-mart. They had good absorbency and didnt seem to cause a rash.

I've always preferred Pampers. In our area, Huggies are the more expensive of the two, but I still prefer the way Pampers fit. They just seem to have the perfect fit down pat, from their Swaddlers all the way up to their Cruisers, and even their slightly cheaper Baby Fit line.
