I hate to say it, but at this point, it really depends. Before we had children, I would undoubtedly have said that I wasn't going anywhere without him, that I'd have gone down with him and someone would have had to thrown me in a lifeboat to get me off the boat.
Now that we have a child, though...well, if she were on the boat with me, she would have to be my greater obligation. And especially since we're expecting another...I would feel a responsibility toward them to get to safety, and my husband would certainly agree.
That's not to say that I would be anything close to happy to leave him, though. :(

Because of my son, I would opt for the safety of a life boat with my husband along at my side. If that wasn't an option, then I would go where my husband goes and try to find a way to stay alive (just like in the movie - poor Jack!).

If I were in that situation, I would do all my very best to save my loved ones. If I were with my family, let's say, my spouse and my children, I think I can afford not to think of myself anymore. I think I would rather choose to die if that's the only way that they will be saved.
In the movie, I remember that when you were at the first class section, you would be given the highest priority. Men would be left in the ship until all of the women and children will be on the boat. In this case, I would let my children ride the boat but I would not leave my spouse alone.
I will be with him no matter what. Just like JACK and ROSE. I would face the reality that the ship's going to sink. So, I would do everything so that we both would still be alive.
I always have this principle that I wouldn't end the battle without fighting it first. So whatever happens, at least, I've done something to save my loved ones. :)

Yes, my spouse would insist that I go... He would tell me I was being stupid to stay. But then I would want to stay with him. Although it would make a difference if we had children. I would get on the safety raft for the children. But if it was today and it was just he and I, I would stay with him.

It depends on the situations. I would stay with my husband if we didn't have kids so I would get on the boat and pray so hard for my husband to get on the next few boat if available. If he couldn't get on the boat I will tell the kids about how wonderful husband/father he was.

This is one occasion in which, being who I am, I wouldn't have had to make that choice. It was women and children first on the lifeboats. Since me and my partner are both women, we would both have been allowed to go on a lifeboat.
Thankfully, in this day and age, people aren't asked to make that decision. The recent sinking of that greek oceanliner proved that our cruise ships have enough lifeboats for everyon on the ship. Unfortunately, the loss of life from the Titanic sinking was a catapult for insuring there were enough lifeboats for everyone. At least we have learned something good from our bad history, in this occasion.
God Bless
