Natural vs Artificial, which do u prefere?

Natural things are preferable to artificial things because they have little or no after effects while artificial things usually have as many side effect as possible when we use them. For example the oxygen[O2] from the atmosphere will never cause blindness to anybody wereas Oxygen in tanks at hospital may cause blindness to a child in incubator. What are ur own opinions?
