does ego has any place in a healthy relationship?????

I often ace a proble with my girlfriend whose main reason is ego.If she says anything which hurts me aur my ego,i react vigourously which results in great tension and distress.What do u people think, in a healthy relation ship is there any place for ego?what should i do if she hurts me????

Keeping Ego is good. But it should not be too much to use it or mind for it at the ever step of our life. Some near or dear ones should not be treated with egoism. And in your case if you love the girl truly, why this ego comes in between, try to discuss openly with your girlfriend about your likes and dislikes and also try to know hers. In this way you or she may not hurt each other. Make a rule if anyone hurt the other, the other should confess that it hearts and change the context in some or other way. Love her deep to get loved deep.
