It depends on how a person reacts to his being rich. Others tend to boast and find that he's losing friends while others stay on the ground and keep up the good works.
Good relationship with family and friends make life more meaningful. Money is one of the ornaments that we have in life to make it a little exciting. But it does not guarantee happiness in all sorts.

To be happy need money other thing is that only money cannot make one happy if he/she do not handle money in proper way. Improper way handling of money can bring happyness for time being say dine, travel, fun, enjoy night life etc. but to gain happiness permanently with millions of money need a planning, spend money for earning, spend money for others benefit, spend money for family welfare, social welfare then it can give happiness.

In my opinion, if you are poor and you are suddenly made a millionaire by winning lottery or similar, you would need to stop for a moment and think what to do next, as many people have ended up with problems with the suddenness of wealth they previously had no experience of before.
On the other hand it could be seen as a life lesson to see how you are going to deal with it. Spend, spend, spend is not going give any real lasting satisfaction and if you are not going to do that, why would you need far more money than you need for yourself and your family anyway?
I would see how I could make a difference to those who I came across that were in need, but I wouldn't put myself back into poverty doing it. I would invest for my family, to make sure they are OK with an income, maybe get one or two things I had always wanted, but then create value where I could. Some people don't realise that creating value in life is so very satisfying.
Good luck and I hope you become a millionaire soon:-)
