Stolen Pictures

I am a member of another forum, and most members have lots of pictures on their own site, and fotki.com. An individual would steal pictures from someone's web site or a free site and use for their business on the web. For example, someone would show off their new wig, and take pictures with it on or on a head stand; then post it in their own fotki album, and invite people to look at their pictures. Then someone would steal a couple of pictures from that site, and post them in their own site to sell their wigs. This person haven't ask permission to borrow the pictures. Until someone spot the stolen pictures. How do you feel about this? Have your pictures been stolen? Do you know of a way to protect pictures so it woulddn't be stolen?
