the way i see it, i think this is going to be one of the most intense and heated series in this years playoffs. vince carter will be returning to toronto to play against the raptors this time and for sure the playoff bound team and fans of canada won't give him a warm welcome. this is the first time in franchise history that the raptors made it to the playoffs without 'air canada'. ranking 3rd in the east, i dont think the raptors will be having an easy time with the nets. aside from carter who can torch them with 30 points a night, jason kidd is still a lethal threat for any team. he can post out triple doubles game after game and his playoff experience will be a big headache for the inexperienced raptors. but lets see what chris bosh and company have in store in the playoffs.
could cb4 and the raptors make it beyond the first round? or will VC, j-kidd and the playoffs returning nets spoil the raptors great season?

although raptors has a better record than the nets the experience will be a great factor in the series. the last time that the raptors tasted playoffs was back in 2001, vince carter was part of that team.
i think the nets has the edge in their series. the nets has the upperhand in terms of talent, experience, and coaching expertise. the only chance of the raptors to push through deep in the playoffs is if they can contain and minimize the production of jason kidd and vince carter both at the same game and the trio of raptors (bosh, ford and parker) produce more for their team... i give the raptors 10% chance of winning the series.
my prediction would be the nets over the raptors 4-1

playoff experience really mattered a lot in this one. jason kidd just torched the raptors in game 3 with 16 points, 16 rebounds and 19 assists. now that's sick! vince carter also came up firing and had a good game finishing with 39 points.
now im also looking forward to the nets in the second round

I would predict that New Jersey Nets will win an upset in Game 7.In fact the Nest won their first game and gain the home court advantage over the Toronto Raptors. After a furious Toronto rally trimmed New Jersey's 15-point second-half lead to one late, Bostjan Nachbar drained a pivotal 3-pointer with 2:42 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Nets stole home-court advantage with a 96-91 victory in Game 1 on Saturday. Richard Jefferson racked up 28 points, while Jason Kidd dished out 15 assists and grabbed 10 rebounds. Vince Carter, who played for the Raptors from 1998-2004, was limited to 16 points on 5-of-19 shooting.

i'd be expecting a vince carter explosion in toronto. just like what he did as a raptor against the sixers, scoring 50 points in a game
