If you are coming to my thread simply to push the (-) button and not really get into the discussion please don't enter in..There are so many discussions out there and if you are not really interested in discussing but merely in knocking off a few points off please please dont come in.
I dont believe the negative button is suppose to mean you disagree..A negative button means that the person is out of line, or the topic is really of no value...
I think people here are generally good and what they have to say is of value even if it is not my opinion..that is what makes a forum a forum and mylot ..mylot..
Mylot is about building friendships and sharing ideas and helping each other out..It's not about pushing others down...or giving them a negative mark if they dont like what we say..
I love a discussion that has a variety of ideas..Not everyone is going to see things the same..I give a plus to every answer as long as it shows effort and it is not vulgar or demeaning;)+

I agree with you. The idea of popularity rating is ridiculous if you think about how people can be when they get a bit of power to weild. The negative is not really necessary anyway, when you can use the exclamation mark to make your case again the person in question. I wish you luck so that you may keep the color and number of the star that weighs so heavily on alot of us.

I agree..the negative is not really necessary with the exclamation mark there..I think it should be taken out of circuit since I think it is so badly used..I don't see why most people in mylot dont have a 10.!!:)+

I don't care about rating, neither to have them or to give them.
I've just rated some pics and only positively, I usually ignore things I don't like.

I totally agree with you!It is ridiculous how people rate (-) only because they dont like what a person has said.I can see if its disrespectful and off offensive.I like responding to all topics.I noticed that in certain discussions I have responded to now my rating went from 98/100 to 97/100.Thats okay because I have a right to my opinion and choose what discussions I want to respond to.When I dont like a certain topic I just go pass it not give a (-).

Glad to see the face behind the name..:) Great photo..I do think though that is the terrible state of some people..they can't separate their feelings towards a person from the content being written..even though the content may be excellent material;)+

You are so right. I don't get to come here much anymore, but when I do, I look for things that interest me and if something doesn't then I just leave it alone. There are people that think putting someone else down somehow brings them up when the opposite is true in the long run.
I always like your discussions and can tell that you put thought into what you type and thought into your responses. This topic shows that.
