the defending champs miami heat will now start their title defense and they'll take on the newly revamped chicago bulls in the first round. chicago has been a little disappointment so far. after taking in ben wallace and a convincing 108-66 win over the miami heat in the season's first game, the bulls was expected to be one of the eastern conference's big names. but as the season progressed, chicago has played subpar basketball and has been a little inconsistent. the heat on the other hand has been battling injury problems, and star dwyane wade is not yet 100% come playoffs. with age and injury chasing them up, the heat are on a serious run for their title defense.
could miami go all the way and make it two in a row? or will ben wallace and the chicago bulls pull out a mediocre season and get a good one in the playoffs?

about miami goin alll the way and winning championship, i dont think that they will be able to survive even the first round of play off
they already lost first game
and i think they are goin to loose second game as well
i think chicago will finish the first round in no more then 5 games unless wade can get his form back

chicago just blown miami out in game 2. i doubt if miami could duplicate the feat the did against dallas in the finals where they swept games 3-6. dwyane wade is not 100% and he can't perform in the level that he's used too. i think its time to crown a new eastern conference champion. detroit? cleveland? chicago?

Yes I believe that my team Miami Heat will still win their back to back title this year.Though the bulls are formidable to beat I am still confident that Miami will win the series in Game 6.Its not time to panic even if where down 0 to 1 in the series.Fod game 1 updates:
Luol Deng erupted for a career playoff-high 33 points, and Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni each hit two free throws in the final 19 seconds to propel the Chicago Bulls to a 96-91 win Saturday over the Miami Heat in Game 1 of its opening-round rematch. Dwyane Wade, who recorded nine of his 21 points in the fourth quarter, handed out an assist to Udonis Haslem with 38 seconds remaining in the game to pull Miami within one.
Gordon registered 24 points and 11 assists for the Bulls, who led by as many as 13 in the second half, while Shaquille O'Neal had 19 points for Miami before fouling out.

tyrus thomas had a great defensive performance during that game. probably a dreaded line-up combo with ben wallace.
