I was offered a good job in the same building that i started studying, the only problem is that they want me to commit for a year, and i know that after eight month i will be getting an other job in the profession that i am studying now.
The job that they offer me now, is a very good job with a good payment..what would you do in that case?

If you need money right now for a goods study and to fulfill your requirement then you musy do this job!
You can commit and after eight month you just do what do you want! Because in that job also you will have bargaining capasity if you are doing this job!
And yes what your moral says you would be the best for you!

thank you healwell, well what my moral feeling was that i do have to phone them and tell them that i can commit for only six monthes. i thaught about it, when i got the phone call from them, that told me that out of alote of people that were interviewed, i got the job. so i just told them that i was happy, and i will be happy to work with them, and i am sure we will have the best results together, and that i can commit for six monthes and not a year. I do think that i did the best thing, because i do not believe in starting a job with cheating others, and closing options for the future, you can never know when you will meet those people, or need to work with them again. so they told me that they have to thing about it, but as they see it now, they do not think that it will be a problem. they will give me their answer on sunday.

I am very sorry, I posted the wrong reply to yoour discussion. Here is the actual one.
I would not know the job situation in your country. Now the difference is only three months and you can be assured that three months will fly past. As you have stated that it is a very good job and pays well, I will take it.
However, there can also be a situation where a good job in relations to your studies might come by. Weigh the pros and cons in your country and make a decision whether to take or to decline.

I wouldn't take it. It looks like you are not sure about this job for many reasons. Be honest with yourself first.Be honest with company. Make your offer if you really like to take it. When one door close, the other opens, don't feel like you are going to miss something, life is never ending opportunity, your is waiting over the corner.

You will have to decide. Weigh your options well. If this job offer is something which you want to consider to be a job for years, go for it. If you believe that you only want to give it a try, ask if they can give you a 6-month trial period. If all your answers to this is a no, then don't entertain the job offer. It seems that you are sure enough that you will get the job you are looking forward to within just 8 months anyway.

This must be a pretty hard thing to make up your mind with...though you are apparently for getting such good job offers.
I guess it would be lovely if you tell them what you're really up to. If they really wanted you so badly to join their team, I guess they would manage to give you a shorter contract. After all, you can still do tons of great things for the company even just for 8 months or so.
And please don't sign the 1 year contract if you know for yourself that you won't be there that long, it would surely ruin your reputation if for the month you need to switch job, you will just no show up to that office...and knowing that you'd be working in the same building, there's really a great possibility of you guys meeting down the hallway... and that won't be as lovely as the first time you see them. :P try to have a graceful exit. :P
just my two cents though.

The same thing happen to me, the moment I realized the problem, switched of my system and came back to my computer about one hour later. Things were OK by then.
I think the error could have been with mylot or on the server. Glad that is over and thing are back to normal.

One should do what they commit to do. If you cannot commit do not accept the offer.

Be truefull with them. Tell them in 8 months you will need to start6 on your career. If they really want you and honor your truthfulness, they will still offer you the job. Don't take the job and lie, it will follow you for years.

Have you tried letting them know? If they want you that much, I am sure they are willing to accommodate.
