It so happened that my mobile handset was suddenly spoiled.
It was beyond repairs. I was not worried about the handset but was deeply disturbed becos of the loss of all the contact details stored in that handset memory.
Has such thing happened to you anytime?
I would like to know how to take the backup of the data in the handset phonebook.
At present I am using Nokia 1255 CDMA handset.
Can anyone give me some workable solution?

Kind of oldfashioned, but if they were people that you called often, you can at least get the numbers off of your past bill. With the ease of cell phones, i dont even know my best friends phone number, so for important ones that you might not have bothered to memorize, that should help you out for now.

I don't know about your phone or your provider, but many companies will now download your info to put it on another phone. I think when my DH got his new phone, it would have been $10 to transfer it over. His phone was also damaged. Good luck!
