What are the inpact on the computer if the CPU are running on 100% all the time. I'm really talking ALL THE time 24/7 at 100%. I got some programs running on my computer that takes up all of the power of the CPU. What should I expect in the long run? Will it burn? Or don't it really care, do you think it'll just go on working? It's an AMD Athlon...

Go into your Task Manager and start closing some Programs one by one and see which Program is doing it. That may solve your Problem. Ihad the same Problem a couple of weeks ago but Finally Found the Program that was doing it and Deleted it Now its running Fine.
Good Luck.
Have a Great Day hope this helps ya some.

if you're running your CPU at 100% load 24/7 then just don't overclock it and make sure that you have a fairly cool temperature. if thats the case i believe that your CPU would be able to live up to the 3yr warranty that the manufacturer gives you

While computers are like cars you never know it you will get a lemon or not there is no reason why it could not take this. The most important thing is keeping it cool. When the processor is running at that level it puts off a lot of heat. If your system is kept clean and the air moves thought it easily then it should be fine.
I have no statistics or averages for this just experience. I did the same thing for about two weeks. I also was concerned about it but had no problems. No reason to think it would not be able to do that for some time.
