When giving gifts, why is that chocolate is popular?

hello there! i think chocolates make good gifts especially when a man woes a woman because it represents sweetness. the man wants to show the girl he's courting that he can be as sweet as a chocolate. Also, chocolate is already proven to make one feel better if he's sick, depressed or nervous.

Many of us already know that chocolate has some kind of effect on our moods. Some of us even crave it from time to time. But, did you ever consider that chocolate might make your anxiety worse?An article at the Third Age site led me to look into the effects of chocolate on mood. The article reported that two ingredients in chocolate, phenylethylamine and theobromine, could cause mood swings. so probably all mans wanna 'swing' us. lol who don't want to eat chocolate? then give it to me . hahaha...

I think it is because chocolates are the most popular gift available. If you don't want to worry on what will you give as a gift, then give chocolate instead. It is easy to give chocolates than think of a special unique gift. Chocolates are sold everywhere and majority of the people loves chocolates so they can't help but accept it.
