Halladay as always, is going to be called in to pitch the Jays to a win after a loss.
This will put them back into first place, and I am hoping that he even lowers his ERA into Cy Young position (I know it's early in the season)
The Jays will look to win a series against the Red Sox at home, and I think they have an 85% chance of doing it. I hope the confidence of having Halladay on the mound wakes up the bats.
They say that you are screwed for a few days after facing a Knuckle-baller as he will throw you off track. Let's try and inflate Tavarez's 9.00 ERA

Halladay is only going to win any games if he can manage to saty in for the complete game like the last one (10 innings?). They blew it on him last night. That has to be so frustrating as a pitcher. Toronto is on a early downward spiral and need the bats to be lit up soon!

I don't completely agree with you, BUT after 7 1/3 and only 95 pitches, runner on 1st, and a closer on the DL, I don't think I pull Halladay.
Especially with that runner on first and Halladay's ground ball tendencies. I think they should have gotten Halladay to close out the 8th and hand the ball to Frasor. He likely would not have exceeded 100 pitches.
Should they have chosen to let Halladay go the distance, I would not have complained. 110 pitches against a division rival isn't the wrong time to push a pitcher.
