Is this really the last season??

My husband thinks that this is the last season because coach is taking that TMU job. The way the show ended last week with coaches wife being prego and saying she's still not going with him, I am not so sure. I really like that show so I hope that it comes back again. Maybe not though cause all the kids will have graduated so there really wouldn't be a point to carry the show on, unless they use Street as the main character.

All signs are that although it hasn't been officially renewed, the likelihood that it is renewed is actually pretty high... Last I remember, NBC top dog Kevin Reilly didn't confirm renewal, but he said that two of the shows that are in limbo, FNL and 30 Rock (another show I enjoy) could be part of a lineup focused on the resurrection of NBC as a top network. He said "nothings guaranteed, but I can't help believing that Friday Night Lights or 30 Rock can be a St. Elsewhere..." It sounds good for the show, I hope... I like the show a lot; I would love to see a second season, it's upto NBC to do it now...

I really like the show too, and I hope it returns. But what will they have to accomplish next year? They won state this year, do they keep going for a repeat, threepeat, and so on? I think sooner or later it might get boring if they don't introduce something new to the show. It is hard to continue on with "high school" shows, because sooner or later the characters have to graduate and move on. I enjoyed this year, though, anyway.
