who manages your finances around the house?

my parents look after it and they handel whole finance of our house

I have always been the one to manage the finances. Everyone here will agree that I am the best with managing money, although I am doing my best to teach my kids to be careful with their spending. I can see that it is actually working with a couple of them so hopefully they will be good at managing finances when they get out on their own.

Well I do my bills and work to pay them. I also do my fiance's bills for him but he pays his own bills.

That is a lot like our situation. My husband is the one who brings in most of the money, and then I'm the one who mostly manages it. I still run everything by him of course, but he asked me to be in charge of our finances cause he thinks I'm better at figuring out the numbers and saving and everything. :)

I try and handle the money but my hubby thinks he does. lol

We both works, although he makes more. I handle all the finances, from balancing the checkbook, paying the bills, and deciding what we can and cannot afford. We recently decided to get really serious about paying down our debts and I am the one in charge of keeping us on track and focused. It works out well this way.

I balance the checkbook and write the checks out to pay the bills. But my husband controlls the money and signs the checks. My name isn't even on the account. But that is a whole other subject that I will not go into at this time.

My partner and I keep our finances seperate. I maintain the household bills because this is actually my house. He pithces in money to help cover the extra cost from him living here. Even after we are married I will be the one to maintain the finances because I am better at budgeting money.
