I started to learn swimming when i was 8 years old.I had my swimming lessons until 12 years. From there i know how to swim..just the basics i think! Before we learn swimming,we must know how to stand on water..like floating in the water. If we can stand water, its easy for use to swim. And also, the breathing techniques that we must control.

i have been swimming since I was probably about eight years old. Dad took us kids to the beach a lot in the summer. I still love to swim and most summers we put a pool up in the back yard, but it seems I spend more time cleaning it after the grandchildren have been in instead of enjoying it! Oh well, at least it's an excuse to get into the water!

I was like 11. my mom put me and my sister in a swim class at the local pool. it was so weird because i was the oldest in the class. the rest of them were 5-8 years old.

I am 24 years old and still do not know how to swim, i have a fear of drowning but I keep saying i am going to start some swimming lessons as my 20month old son loves the water. My boyfriend brings him up the swimming pool near us and he loves the pool when we're away on holidays. I would love to be able to jump and play with him with out having a fear of falling over in the water etc.

I'm 10 years old when I learned how to swim. My father hired a swimming instructor for my two older brothers.Everytime they go to the beach or to the swimming pool, I go along with them and listened to the instructor nearby.
