I am unaware of the benefits, that children recieve when they play video games like playstation, Xbox or Psp etc. But i can say that i generally effects their health like cause eye strain and tending to develop violent atitude towards others, please share with me your advice and thoughts about playing video games, since i myself facing this problem because i feel that my children are addicted and playing video games regularly and not concentrating on their studies, how could i get them back to normal.

My son is two years old and very soon we are going to start limiting what he can watch. We watch a movie every night and sometimes he watches it with us which probally isnt the best idea. i belive that if he kept watching violent movies or played violent games he would relate that to the real world and he could develop violent behaviors. I dont want to take that chance so I will start being very carful to what I expose him to especially at a young age

As parents it is our duty to decide what is or is not good for our children. We sometime need to steel our hearts to teach our children what they need to know. When we let our children make decisions before they are mature enough to handle their decisions. You have to be stronger than your children. You have to decide who is the parent and sometime that is hard.

Yes, but with limitation. You have an agreement that they can play only in 1 hour. And try to talk what kind of games they want to play.
