When was it or what was it that made you decide what you wanted to do with you life?? I think that everyone has that one moment that ultimately decided what they were going to do. I know a lot of you don't know what your going to do yet, but if you had a choice what would it be??
I decided to look for another job after 5 and half years in retail. I prefered to work in adminstration rather than stay at the checkout. Now i'm enjoying it. It will be almost a year in 2 months time since i left retail.

It happened 4 years back when I decided to settle down.I think that was the biggest decision I've made in my life.I 'm proud to say that I have no regrets with that big decision in my life because now I have a beautiful wife and two cute children.I am so grateful to God that He always bless my family. So with all my friend here and the whole community of myLot.

What to do with your present vocation seems to be the pertinent question everyone is asking to themselves.to arrive at quicker decisions is not that easy..it is wise to think over it several times and arrive at a decision as to what will be good for you in the future.

That moment came for me when I failed in my exams and realised the efforts put in by my parents to provide me with best options in life.I started taking up part time jobs to earn my own pocket money since 2 yrs.

I always wanted to be a stay at home mom because growing up, my mom was always working and I felt like I was missing something that my friends had with their mothers. Because of this, I went into teaching so I could be home with my kids in the evenings and during summer vacation. Once I had my kids, I realized that I wanted to be with them when they were little. The breaking point was when my 2 yr old came home from the sitters and said the F word. The next day, I quit my teaching job. We still needed the income, so I became an in home day care provider. Been doing this for 15 years and love it.

I've been in the workforce for over 10 years now. My first 2 years was split between fast food and retail. Both of which I found fun and very active. The last 10 years I've been working for the same company in the electronics industry. I have worked as a bench tech and now do technical support. I like what I do but miss the physical activity of my previous positions. This is still not what I really want to be doing. I honestly do not know what would make me really happy. I would love to be able to start a motorcycle shop with a friend of mine. We are trying to get something started in our spare time but right now it doesn't look like its going anywhere fast.
I don't think I would like knowing what I want to do. It would take the adventure and fun out of exploring new opportunities and jobs.
