Yes, I think that you should get some time away to do something for yourself. It isn't good to get 'mommy burnout". Tell your partner that you need a break for a day and let him stay with them while you do a day out. Do whatever you enjoy doing! Better yet, get a sitter and have a date with him!! Enojoy!!

Homemakers certainly deserve a break..and not just a break but a nice vacaion..with lots of pampering.. u also need to do something u like on a regular basis.. i work on the stock market every morning..from home.. iwrite blogs.. and as of now i have only one son who is 6 months old..i can just imagin how u r taking care of 2 kids with the third one on its way...

I absolutely think -no, I KNOW- that stay at home moms and work at home moms need a break from the house and the family sometimes. It's not that we don't love everybody and want to care for them, we just need a chance to rejuvenate once in a while! It's important and necessary and it makes us better moms. You have to take care of you too.

Definitely. I have been at home since August and I really don't get to get out or do anything but walk my daughter to and from school, walk my dog and clean, clean, clean. I want to get out and something so bad. I find I am getting more depressed.Yes we definitely need to get out.
