Do you stay with your job because you love what you are doing or because of the salary? If you are given a new opportunity, will you leave your job for a higher salary offer?

For the past 9 months that i have been working as a Call Center Supervisor here in the Philippines, I would say the love for what i am doing is the reason why i cant leave this company even if i have a low salary compared to big call center companies. There are times though when im tempted to quit and look for a high paying job, but then i realized this is just a starting company and to grow with them has been my dream and pride. And one more thing i like the working relationship between me and my subordinate we treat each others as friends no matter what position you have in the company while maintaining the respect of the position. For me what matters most no matter how much the salary is as long as you love what you are doing and is comfortable doing it is the best job you will ever get.

woah.. i wonder what company you are in because i also work in a call center in Makati.. i've been with this job for more than a year and a lot of job opportunity came, like a promotion in other company, higher salary, better benifits but i rejected them as well because of our company culture which makes me feel at home and the people i've been working with.. it's so nice to work with the people you like... it helps you lessen the stress.. :-)

When I first graduated from college and got my job, I was not satified with my job. I always wanted to change.But anyhow,I kept on.As time went on,I came to love my job and live with the low pay. I don't wish to change any more.Now I can tell my friends,I love my job and I am content with the pay. I won't change.
