Respond please ! questions about "My best responses"

I have quite a few "My best responses". It really feels good when someone marks my response as best because i feel it as a gesture of aknowledgment about my effort, time and quality of the post. It also bring two people close to each other and makes a bond of friendship. If i comment on some post and someone else's response is selected as best, even then i feel good because the poster has aknowledged the efforts of commentators. I really feel bad when someone just posts a topic and then forgets about it, never to come back. It gives a sense as if every body's effort and time has gone wasted. I not only always mark best response for my posts but also rate and reply to the every comment made on my post. I feel honored when some one takes his/her time to respond/comment on my post. About imortance, i think it affects one's star rating probably but i am not sure. The most important aspect in my view is the encouragement and acknowledgement of your effort and not the star rating.

I have got 26 "best responses" so far. I just love to get best responses .I feel as if I have got an award, it is also a source of encouragement for me to give better and better reponses. Not only me but I think everyone must be happy to get their response as the best response.The first thing I do on myLot is to check "my best responses" for any new addition. I always make it a point to choose the best response for my discussions.I don't know about any monetary benifits of best response but as I mentioned above it is a souce of encouragement and also makes the members to give good responses.

I have over 60 best responses. I give "best responses" on every one of my discussions. I still have a couple of dicussions though that have 0 responses. I am not sure what importance it has but it made me feel good when I got the first few "best responses". It made me think that someone valued my opinion enough to mark it best response. Now with so many it doesn't matter that much any more. There might be some monetary value but I have not noticed that.

I have many "best responses". MyLot encourages members that give a "best response" to the discussions they start, by paying them more. If your response gets marked as "best response" you earn more for that response.

So far I have gotten 7 best responses, and that makes me feel good! yay :) I often give best responses to people who have the most passionate or helpful response. I also give a best response to the first persom who guesses my riddles right =P When you get marked as a best response your rating goes up (the star by your name).

I have 18 Best responses, I usually try to give them to every discussion I start, but I wait a few weeks to get all responses. I've had a few that I just randomly picked because all the responses were generally the same and then someone posts a response I really like the day after and I wish I'd waited.
