Do you write fast?

yeah, me too! i htink im kinda fast writing also, i remembered at school whenever we write lectures, i always finish it ahead of them, and when they look on my notes, its neat and legible. i dont know why but maybe its when you get used to writing rather than typing. But im not slow in typing, maybe i can type 25 wpm in the typewriter.. :) lol

I've not timed myself writing properly - I know my shorthand used to be 135 wpm but not done that for a while. If I'm trying to write neatly then I have to write slower than usual. I used to have very good handwriting until I learned shorthand years ago - now my writing is just a scribble unless I make a conscious effort to slow down.

Yeah sometimes I wrote things too fast. When I did, only me can read the actual handwriting, not even my wife. She says my handwriting is like the doctor's handwriting :)

i write slow coz i have ugly hand writing and if i write so fast you might not be able to read my hand writing. but i can understand my hand writing and others might not be able mine.

I really have NO idea my speed as far as writing. I do know I write very quickly and legiblt I've been told. My typing needs a lot of work though. It is getting faster due to the amount of typing here on mylot. Hahahaha. So maybe some day I'll time myself. Proabably not but anyhow. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I always think faster than I write. My hand just isn't as far as my mind. Can't compare. :P

all i know is i type real fast. there are times when i can type up to 75 words per minute. i haven't thought about knowing my speend with in comes to writing. but i know i can write things fast. actually, i am curious to know and so, i will try and know it sometime. thanks for the idea!

When it comes to taking notes and writing things for myself, I think I can write super fast. I don't have to worry about legibility or writing whole words, cause I can use little tricks to shorten words and I can definitely read my own writing (most of the times, at least.) However, when I am writing for someone else, I tend to take my time because I want to make sure that I am writing neatly enough so that someone else could read it. I don't know how fast I write... my official adjusted typing score is 51 WPM, so I guess my typing isn't too bad.

no i got problem to translate from my languange Indonesia to english, that's why i write to slow. if my english is good i think i will write fast.. like lighting !

Don't know my wpm but I write fast. It's legible to me anyway. Not to most other folk though.

I do write fast. I don't type 'properly' but I can type fast and don't need to take a lot of time mulling over what I am going to say, it just flows out and then I am done.

Sounds pretty good to me. When I write fast I write messey so I usually take my time, try to anyways. Now If i could write as fast as people say I talk then I'd be doing godd..lol

Actually I'm not a good and fast calligrapher my writing sucks. My friend sometimes jerk me and says I should took medicine and became a Doctor instead of my current job of being information technology staff because my way of writing. Thanks to the advancement of technology and to the advent of computer I can now write a decent style of my choice with the help of word processor program such as Microsoft Word. From the day of learning computer I continue enhancing my speed and formatting ability. There are some computer program that can be use to practice your typing skill and gradually improving it speed like Typing Tutor. I think you should try it, and hopefully it will help you attain more speed in typing. By the way I can type 40-45 words per minute. Still not that fast but I'm pretty contented with that.

Well as being an engineering student I do have a good speed when I write but not that clear lol!! It only comes via practice and constant writing sessions and oprtunities. To take notes down from my classes my writing speed has really improved a lot and I love that way it is, but one problem i.e. the clearity in writing. thats the place where I lack but when you go on higher studies clearity is not a thing to bother on, but the real matter whether you can understand your writing or not!!But I can understand mine well mostly..lol!! have a nice day.

I type kinda slow, I usually like type with my left hand because I always like to have my mouse in my right.

oh well i do write fast and yes typin is much faster than that no matter its computer or my cellphone :))i can write 65 words p/m on keyborad almost double on cell and about 80 words permin by pen,,,,wat say!!!

well i really dont know how fast can i write??? but am sure typing is faster!!1 seems you have lots of time to observe all this... lol
