Where have you learned html from, internet, school, books, friend or a combination of them? I learned from the internet, html goodies and w3, and bought a couple of referrence books later, even though there are many sites with html resources I still love books.

I learned html codes from webmonkey.com. I had to create a website for a couple of companies and kind of did it by the seat of my pants. Once you get the hang of it, it isn't too hard. The great thing now is, most websites have simple menus that will add html tags for you. That makes things very easy! To have versatility you should still learn some html, but you can also use conversion software, or something like Dreamweaver.

Im not familiar with html. Most people probably learned from school especially those who took up computer science, information technology, engineering and degrees which is related to computer. Actually Im interested to learned html but don't have much time to research it online. would you mind if you can give some html resources? :)

I learned almost exclusively through the internet. I started out years ago on neopets, creating a pets page with their HTML tutorial back before it was so restrictive. Then I moved on to an angelfire site. Now I primarily use it in my blogs and to customize profile pages in sites like this one. I'm still learning, but I think I have a fair grasp on at least the basics. Whenever I run across something I don't know how to do, I just do a search and find a tutorial or help page. When I really get stuck, I know of a few good forums with great folks to ask. While on most things I prefer using a book than learning from the net or other sources, HTML and the like lend themselves to internet learning because I can copy and paste code (when the site allows it) and teach myself that way. Far easier than having to look it up in a book and then type the whole thing out!
