can you live without make-up?

Most of the ladies nowadays, including me rely on the use of make-up everyday. I was not accustomed to earing make-up during my teen years, I would go out of the house without powder application even on my face. Then, when I went to work for a telecommunications company, make-up was a must! I did not have any choice but to wear make-up and somehow I got the hang of it and I can't go out now without applying make-up.. But other times when I have to go on errands and just come back home, I would not apply any make-up as it would be very impractical to put make-up on when I would just be out if the house for less than an hour. How about you? Can you live without make-up?

i can live without make up as i dont get used to wearing it. I feel comfortable without it because if i do wear make up i feel heavy and dirty. I only wear light make up in work because its really needed but when im in home or not in work or go malling i dont wear it. I feel fresh without it. what i only wear comfortably is only baby powder.

i am a band singer since i was 18 and of course make up is a must.... but if i am just at home i dont put anything, a nightly or daily make up can really hurt our skin. but now i am just a plain housewife i just a little eyebrow pencil at my eyebrows cause i dont have eyebrows at all (lol) and i put baby powder coz i like the smell of it and a light lipstick. i like to be presentable enough to my husband.

I find it difficult to leave the house without lip balm. That's all I need. I can do without lipstick and all that make-up stuff. Thankfully, my previous employers never required me to wear make-up but I still wore some (very light) but only when the occasion called for it. I don't want to be too attached to make-up. My mom can't leave the house without wearing it and her lips have become dark.

I agree. Lip balm is very useful. Our lips will really be very dry and chapped without it. It also provides a gloss that is very sexy to look at. lol!

for someone who seldom wears make-up, i'd definitely say yes. make up is used to enhance your appearance and cover some unwanted spots in our face but if you feel confident enough you shouldn't worry about not having to use make up. in my case, i don't use make up because my face is allergic to most of it. my face turns red if i have to use make up for a long time. i can do away with it but not with a lipstick. i feel like something's missing if i don't wear one when i go out.

Lipstick is also what I would bring if I can't bring the whole make-up kit with me. I just apply powder and then lipstick so that I won't look too pale. Thank God for the invention of lipstick =) I also have a friend who is allergic to make-up. What she can wear is only lip balm which is quite fortunate because any girl cannot live without lipstick.

Of course i can, even though i love make up , just to make my face more beauty and fresh. Sometimes i just put treatment for my face, healthy skin is more beautiful than make up

Right. Nothing is more beautiful than natural beauty. It would be very nice to let the face rest for a while without make-up.

I cannot live without makeup to be frank. I just enjoy playing with the colors so much. And since I have switched to mineral makeup a while back, I am not even worried about the negative effects the makeup would bring to skin. I wear makeup most of the days, except staying home. If I stay home and won't go out, then I would let my skin rest. Of course if I just go out to groceries stores or grab some food downstairs, I don't wear any makeup but only SPF products. I put on makeup whenver I go to work, or meet my friends. I just love to look lively and sophisticated all the time *smiles*. I think makeup products are really a great invention!

I agree that make-up makes you look better and it adds color to the face. What do you mean ny mineral make-up? Where can we get it?

Lets get this straight? They forced you to wear makeup! One would think that was against the labour laws of whatever country you live in. I only wear a little makeup when I'm going somewhere special.

This is included with the job description of a frontliner in the company I used to work in. If they catch you not wearing make-up while you are on the counter, you are made to go back in the backroom and apply make-up so that you can "blend with the background." It is also included in our auditing, it is uncluded as a uniform for the company and it should not be light make-up, the colors should match the uniform for that day. That was how strict the company was with their grooming policies.
