On may 15th there is supposed to be a gas boycott. People are saying that on May 15th they will not buy gas. I will be one of these people, but I am also a doubter of what this will actually do. People are trying to prove that gas prices are too high, and by making oil companies lose millions of dollars in a day. The only problem is that the gas consumption will be in a surplus on the 14th and the 16th. The only way to actually make it an effective day would be to avoid all gas consumption for the day. That way there would be no need, and gas would actually take a hit. That is not why I am writing this post however. I am writing it to find out how many people are actually going to avoid getting gas on May 15th. I will be one of the people.

I haven't heard of this but I might do it. But it has been done before and nothing changed did it??? You should not buy gas from the big compaines for a while they are the ones that set the tone for prices. Mobile, marathon, places like that.
If they see that they aren't selling much gas for a few days they would lower their price unfortunatly until the U.S. Govement decides to do something about the gas prices things won't change. I will pass along the May 15th boycott though maybe it will work this time.
