I saw a show yesterday about overweight people and how they are treated in society. One says that every time he goes into the elevator and if its to the maximum capacity and the alarm goes off, people around him would look at him, expecting that it was his fault and that he should get off. This even happened to him a few times when he was the first person in the elevator. What's up with that? How can they be so rude? What's ur take on this?

Cool question. I guess people do too many assumptions and do things that the society expects off and is just wrong. Thanks for response.

well I usually am the fattest person in the elevator, and I don't think I caused it but I have done other things like break chairs etc.

There are some things that can't be controlled. As long as you are happy with youself, is what counts. Thanks for response.

I agree, it's just rude to do that. It's all the lack of education they've received. Thanks for the response.

wow.. true.. it's so truee... although i'm not that overweight person.. i do look at the fattet person if the alarm goes off.. haha.. i know it's some kind of discrimination and it's bad.. who doesn't know it's bad to look at people such way.. what should we do then if the alarm goes off? should we chase away the one that recently just entered? is it better to sacrifice one than to sacrifice all? actually.. i think it's quite good to look at him at times.. maybe it will make him feel bad.. and he might get some exercise to slim himself down? who knows.. we're the one should be thank in the future? erm.. it's hard to decide though.

I don't think anyone choose to be fat. I know of people who are fat because they have a condition. But, isn't common sense that the person that entered the elvator the latest is the one required to leave? One can not tell the fat person at the back of the elevator to get off. It's just wrong. Thanks for response.
