I am not sure how many of you have heard of a family named Phelps who run a church that really preaches hatred. They are so caught up in themselves and do nothing but spew anger, hatred and are just disgusting. They have been going around the USA protesting soldier's funerals and disrupting the families and friends who are trying to mourn in private. They say that the soldiers died because of America's sins against their church. HUH? They also say God has brought down his wrath on them because they let homosexuals into the service. They use disgusting slang words when talking about certain groups of people. Now, they have turned their attention on the innocent victims at Virginia Tech and are planning to stage protests at their funerals too. They say they were massacred for their sins against their church too. I do not understand why they think their church is so all-fired important and why anyone would give them a second thought if not for these disgusting displays. If you look these people up, you will discover news coverage from their past where they kept their kids chained to posts like animals, beat them and also stole money for personal gain. There are 2 children that were able to break away from this "cult". I see groups like this as a threat to the very fabric of America and other countries, since they do not save their wrath just for the USA. This Saturday, they will be protesting the funeral of the RA, Ryan Clark in Evans, Ga. If I am able, I plan to go and join the Patriot Guard to block them from the family and friends view. I am not sure I will be able to go, but if there is any way, I will be there. I am thankful that the Patriot Guard has been alerted. They also go cross country so that they can keep these people away from the service. Something needs to be done about this group. I know if and when they show up in Virginia, the plan is to arrest them, since there, they will deffinitely be breaking the law.

I have never heard fo them and I think they are the ones who are sinning. God wants us to preach love and compassion. I hope they all get arrested and thrown into jail on bread and water. To me it seems as if they are doing the devil's work.

This type of behavior sickens me. How can someone call themselves a Christian and do something like this. It is so wrong. I hope nothing happens to my ex while over in Iraq but if the worst does happen, they better keep their arses at home.

I pray nothing happens to your ex there too and also my husband and many friends. I believe one family has files a lawsuit, not really for money, but in an effort to stop them from doing to others what they did to them. ME? I'd go for the jugular. They all deserve prison sentences for this and also the crimes they have committed such as child abuse and embezzlement. I hope they get it and i hope they end up in prisons where the people the think are so horrible have free reign over them.

I'm no Biblical scholar, but aren't we instructed in more than one place that one shouldn't judge others, lest we be judged ourselves? I also remember something about healing your own heart before fixing others. Who in the world do these intellectual deficients think they are? The one and only difference between these dolts and the radical Islamists is, they didn't grow up in a world of war like the Middle East. These people are emotional terrorists, and don't deserve the protection of law that our brave men and women soldiers fight and die for. How do I get in touch with the Patriot Guard? I would be deeply honored to put my wide hips between the grieving families and these soulless scum!
