Which one is better pc games or game consoles ?

year by year the capacity of the computer is changing in terms like motherboard,ram,processor... Is it better to buy a gaming console like xbox or ps3 rather than changing the system's configuration year by year.

I think PC's are much better because you can change parts. Unlike consoles, when they go out of the market, you'll have a hard time looking for games. Also, console games can be played on PCs.
