Have you learned of this news? I am a Filipino and i'm deeply saddened by what happened. it's not the nature of us Filipinos to harm others especially foreigners. countries around the globe do have crime incidents and we also do here in the Philippines. i personally am very sorry that this one's committed by one of my countrymen. please reply with your opinions... i will really appreciate if you make honest comments.

I think it's very tragic indeed. Of course, I don't see why this should put the Philippines in a bad light, other foreigners die in different countries around the world everyday.
What is sad, is that such a tragic thing has to happen to someone so good.
I mean, she left her country, her family, to do a good thing, only to die in the hands of the very people she is helping. Very sad indeed.

It's really revolting how a man, in a fit of anger could hit and kill another person, whether foreigner or not, whether male or female. Such person is not fit to live in a civilized society such as ours. We condemn such barbaric act, much more that the victim is an American missionary, who came to the Philippines to spread goodwill and help our fellowmen. . but look what she got instead? Was the man insane, lunatic, psychotic??? I am not only sorry, but I am very angry at this senseless killing of a good person such as Julia Campbell. . .this murderous act will never be forgotten for a long, long time.. .

it is a sad thing that there are some of us who are too hotheaded as not to care about harming others. whether the people around us are just like us or foreigners, it is always best to bear in mind that it is not good to be hurting or, even think of, harming others.
