Think about the things that your father and grandfather did when you were young. Those things that you think were important and good .. use them and those that you think were not so good .. do not implement them. Nobody can tell you how to be a good parent .. only what not to do to avoid being a bad parent .. then people have different ideas of what is good and what is bad.
You should love your children equally .. show and tell them that they are loved .. do not be afraid to give them a kiss and cuddle .. read them stories .. tuck them into bed. Praise them when they do something right .. correct them when they are wrong but not harshly .. encourage them to be independant and think for themselves. Show them how to do things then let them do it themself .. watching and offering advise if asked. If they do not ask and are not at risk of harming themself .. watch but do not criticise. Children learn by example .. so set a very good example for them.
Teach them manners .. that they should respect other people and property. Make sure that they learn about the good and the bad things in this life, feed them, see that they get the best possible education. Most of all tell them that you are proud of them.
Good luck.

Hi there!
Being a father requires a lot of patience and strong muscles. To me, a father is naturally a joker and playful.
A father should always spend time playing with the kids. Tickling, discussing funny things, lifting kids, feeding the pets are some of the things that jy husband do to spend time with our children. And the kids love it! They know its playtime and time to laugh hard again when they see their father.

You are a son, so I guess you know what you got from your father, the good and the bad things. That's a starting point.
