For what you are respected? Have you any idea?

well the respect i receive varies differently from the kind of people i'm with. :) the people i work with respect me for the quality of work that i contribute. i don't also say no to work. i work overtimes without being paid for it. i do the work or travels to rural and far flung areas that nobody else would agree to. i never complain and never asked for a salary raise. i always accommodate and my ultra patience has been tried and tested. they like how very detailed i can be when it comes to work. the people at home respect me for my maturity. i provide advise to my older siblings and help out financially if any one of my family is in need. my nephews and nieces respect me for being strict yet fun to be with. i'm half their aunt and half their friend. some of them listen to me more than they do their parents. :) my friends say that they like how they could trust me with their innermost feelings. they like the fact that they could find a friend in me when everybody else has judged them for their wrongdoings. they respect my emotional strength as a person and my calm nature and positive outlook in life. they respect the kind of trust i was able to gain from them. my boyfriend (-lol-) told me that he respects my intelligence coz i'm what he called simple yet witty. i have the strength to be a woman in his arms yet also be the other half that supports him when the sailing becomes rough. :) different people find me differently even if i show the same person that i am. i cannot choose which above is my best quality. but i find that my emotional strength has been tested over and over again by life's trials. it's now weather proof so to speak. :)

i used to manage a pharmacy for two years before. i say my staffs respect me more than are scared of me. these two words are different and i prefer to be respected rather than find people being scared of me. i am an immense amount of patience. i don't get mad easily. and when things go wrong, i talk directly to the person conerned. through this, i get to be respected. and it feels great to earn respect from people... i know i deserve it.

Frankly speaking i am respected because i am YOUR FRIEND ;P LOL, i think this sentence would have made you to freeze. Anyway, i feel that i have some good character for which people respect me. I dont see money as the criteria and i mingle with any type of people. Even then i dont think i have that much of respect in this society because i am not yet a family man!

I can only say what I have heard from other people about me. Most of them say that they like to be around me because I am honest and very friendly. I like to be around people and meet new people. I don't judge people how they look or what are they wearing.

i believe that my friends love me and respect me for being sweet and friendly and they adore the way i speak too. that's what most of them say. they like listening to me speaking in english because my pronounviation is goos. my family love me for another reason. it's because i love them and i make them my priority and most especially, i help them in any way i can.

Respect??... I do not think that people respect me. Because I do not maintain any family, no one is dependent on me. I am not currently employed. So the question of respecting me for my positions does not arise. I think my parents love me because of I am their daughter. My friends love me for my friendly and helpful nature. When I was working, then my seniors complemented me because of my sincere work. It is true that position in the work place really counts. But a person's co-operative behaviour, true effort towards his work and honesty can draw real honour for him in his wrokplace as well as other areas of his attachments.This my point of view. I think I am respected for my loving and caring , I look after my disabled son , my hubby who has heart problems and recently had a bypass operation and my parents who still live at home and both have Alzheimer's , It is hard work but I love them and I don't want to be without them xx

I am respected in my community and by many friends and family for my sobriety and sense of well being in this matter. I also seem to be respected for my knowldege in general by family anf friends. I am also respected here it seems for my intelligence and humor and overall good attitude of life in general. Thanks for the discussion also. I loved the responses I've seen so far. i am respected in my family coz im a cool mom and really do what i promise to my family..i am sincere to family and to others...thats what my family have commented when i asked them my good points..

i think i'm respected for few unique qualities as mu mum says ,she says i can do what others can not recently i helped in fixing my sister's marriage for which boy's side were lil .... but then they agreed ,people always get impressed me and i hv never met some one who don wanna friends with me and the compliment alwyays get is i remind them of some friend ,initially it used to bug what can't people see me as a different individual and not someone else ,but later i realised its a compliment,zyada to nahi hua na.. chalo ...

I think people respect for my personality for who am I. Towards my family to my siblings they respect me because I am the eldest in our family. Towards my friends and officemates they respect my decisions and if ever I am in a bad mood they won't joke around unless I am ready to ride with their jokes.

i'm respected because of my attitude...i'm just a simple girl...i'm not talkative but you'll not get bored when you're with me..i also have a good sense of humor but i hate green jokes...I'm respected at work because of my knowledge...i'm also respected because i also respect the people around me...

i think we respect other from very diffrent pointof views from person to person as everyone has its own way of thinking . so i can only guess about why others respect me i am a honest person i never think bad about others i always help others to get out of day today problems as i am capable of providing a analytic solution to then which they like a lot best quality i do possess is i think my ability to maintain good relations

You are respected for your good behavior and nature towards people.Honesty and loyalty are equally important.

I find myself to be a very patient, friendly and caring person. I think these are reasons people like me. My husband says it's the fact I have so much patience, that I can put up with most things. I somewhat agree, I do hold my feelings sometimes. My family says I'm friendly and I truly believe that. I give a benifit of a doubt to people, and I care about people, even those I don't know.

I think we can consider respest in many forms. 1. The professional respect given to you by your colleagues because of the kind of proffesional relationship u have with them, and also because of your job position. 2. The family respect is earned by you because the family knows you are always there for them when they are in crisis. 3. The friends respect because you might a friend of the type "A friend in need is a friend indeed". 4. And most important you should be repected by GOD, then only you can be repected by all other people around you.

I don't get respected, I think people are just jealous of me or something I live in vermont .If that tells you something ha-ha. why are there so many miserable people in the world. Me I don't waste my time being miserable and I don't get jealous or pissed off because I see someone having more fun than me
