I would like to apologise to all the mylotters for not having rated there responses, both in the discussions that i have started and in those that i have responded to.
But, to be honest, i've seen this decline in the response rating. To me, it seems as if people are no more rating. Just responding, and tagging, and that's all. Ofcourse i am one of them.
How do i say this? Well, that's because my rating has not changed for the past few WEEKS! Neither has it changed for a lot of my friends. So, does this not give you all an idea?Once again, i am really sorry to all of you that i've not rated your responses, and i'll start doing that from now on.
MOreover, am also sorry for not having commented on your responses mylotters.
I guess it's time i started doing things a bit more responsibly here on mylot!Sorry everyone, and wish you all best of luck!;):)

Hello Lifetalk! I have recently joined mylot and from day one am rating all responses to my discussions and discussions am responding too. I really don't know what I gain by rating discussions and responses, but I respect people taking out time to respond to my discussions so I rate them and I rate the discussions I respond to because I like them. I have rated your this discussion too. Also I respond to all responses to my discussions because I love to do so. I am just curious to know that how do you say that nobody is rating anymore? I mean how do you decide that your responses and discussions are not rated? Does the star next to your name decide that?

Welcome to mylot, indiavani. May you stay here for a long time. It is good that you have consideration for all those who had been participating in your discussions.

It is good that you have come to realize that it is our responsibility to rate and give some comments to the responses we receive to our discussions.

lifetalk, we all have a responsibilty of sorts to respond back to the people that respond to our discussions and to also rate their responses. At least you came to your senses! lol The ratings system benefits all members unless you choose to abuse it, which it doesn't sound like you will. You do realize that your star rating can go up and down and up and down all in the matter of minutes right?? Just because it does not change drastically does not mean that you are not getting rated by other users. It just means that it is pretty much staying at a constant flow. I know that I for one rate all the discussions and responses that I read even if I do not respond to it. Mylot encourages it. They want to know if the content is relavent or not. That is what your star rating is all about. :)
Best of luck and happy mylotting lifetalk, have some fun.

Yea i guess i've probably come to my senses now.Haha. Anyway, yea, since the time i started this discussion i have been rating responses and all the discussions that i read here in mylot. So, i feel less 'guilty' now. And i guess you are right about the fact that the rating keeps going up and down. :)
