i am a super talkative person

do you think its an advantage to be a talkative person because you can easily befriend someone even if its your first meeting? well, that's what i am. anywhere i'll go, i can have friends. i'm just wondering if some of my friends got irritated when i run the show because i can hardly noticed that i have done all the talking. but i am a good listener as well. its just that i do most of the time the talking.

Yes of course, specially when you are in sales.if we talk thats what we pay for. Some people dont like to talk in front of an audience but it can be develop. I am also talk when i met new friends, i really like people, it was develop since i became sales consultant of a pre-eed company. As of now i still want to develop more this skills of talkng and giving information , presenting to people some ideas they can think about in preparing for the future.Your're right also that in order to be a good speaker one should be a good listener.

well, it would really be an advantage if you are in sales. actually, im in sales too and if you are a shy type of person...you cant really perform or fulfill your job because it really needs personnel relation.

It does seem like an advantages to be a talkative person and yes I do agree with you that talkative person are the person that can make friend easily. Good for you if you are "super talkative person". I am a bit shy and I don't like to talk that much unless it is my favorite topic. There are actually some ways for less talkative or shy people to make friends with others. For example yesterday I went to graduate night that hosted by a potential employer. I do make quite allot of friends yesterday and it is all because I were attached to the most talkative person around me. Of cause once we introduce each other , he also began to learn other people name and it is natural to shake hand make friends with them if you just "tag along" and do nothing else. Still I do think that it is best to speak up and be talkative rather be shy .

yeah, i guess you're right about it. as long as we know our limits as a talkative person and be a good listener as well..it's really an advantage. but if your talkative and backbiting other people or being tactless...i guess its not good already. we should know how to control ourselves.

Like any other issues, everything has it's pros and cons. Being a talkative person can definitely gain friends faster than a shy person. I can't say I am a talkative person because I am a bit shy. But once I get to know someone, I kept telling him stories about me. Let's say I am more of a story teller. Some people like me that way but some not. Someone actually told me that sometimes he doesn't listen anymore to what I am saying because I talk a lot. I guess that's fine with me. It hurt a bit but it's ok. I just want to talk to some people about me and if they don't want to listen then I might as well look for some people who would listen to me.

I am just like you and so far I have had no complaints. I have lots of friends and they say they like to have me around as it never gets boring.

I'm an introvert. My friends often call me as gentle man and tender man.I admire people who talkative,whom must be easy-going,and must have a lot of friends.So I try to make myself talkative,so i working as a sales man in our company.This make me have more chance to talk to others.
