Are your feet often hurt by new shoes?

I find it quite frustrating personally. The other day, when I looked at my shoe shelves, I found so many pairs which are unworn or just once or twice. Because when I tried the shoes in the stores, they were so perfect! But when I wear them in "real life", it hurt like crazy. They look too pretty to throw away and I still have hopes that one day they will be magically comfortable. What about your experiences? I always find myself buying new shoes and wearing the old ones *laughs*.

Right, it really annoys me to have new shoes and to want to wear new shoes but then I find that they hurt my feet and I have to give up on them! Each time I look at my new shoes at home, I would almost feel guilty not to wear them anymore. Still, they are sitting at my home because I still have hopes on them *laughs*.

Whenever i go shoe shopping i always try them out at the shoe shop, meaning that i put them on and walk a few paces. That way i know whether they are comfy or not! One added advantage that i have is having three brothers with the same shoe size as mine, we constantly share shoes! they wear mine and i sometimes wear theirs! LOL it saves me the money of buying different kinds of shoes!!

This happens to me everytime when i wear a new pair of slippers.Even now iam wearing a band aid in my legs hurted by my new slipper. My mom advises me to apply some oil or candle paste so that it will not hurt the fingers. But i forget everytime and gets hurted..

It seems you are right. But lately I bought a pair of new sandle and they are so comfortable. I think usually the high heels will make your feet so uncomfortable. And the sneakers are always very comfortable to wear even if they are brand new.

No, I wear gel inserts so my feet don't hurt that much.

Yes, unfortunately my feet seem to be sensitive. But Lately I manage to buy mostly comfortable shoes. I decided that I can't buy even wonderful shoes if they are not comfortable. I learn how to choose right shoes, how heel, how material. I test shoes before buying it, I touch them inside, if they are soft. I use my experience to buy good shoes. If I have some daubts I leave shoes. I have enough shoes I'm not able to wear.

Sometimes my feet will be hurt by the new shoes. I don't know why. Maybe I need some time to adjust to the new shoes.
