Do you always get what you want?

Before, when I was still single and studying, I usually get whatever I want. There were lots of people who are willing to give me anything as long as they can. Aside from my mother and father, my aunts and uncles and grandfather in the United States provided me with things that I need such as a personal coputer, clothes and shoes, and lots of other stuffs. And also my aunts and uncles from my father's side, and my grandmother pays for my education and gives me daily allowance. They also buy me clothes and shoes and anything that I like. When I got married and had my own family, everything changed. But I try to give our son the things that he like. Of course not everything. We still know our limitations.

Sometimes I do get what I want. Like a delicious meal. Or have nice walk under sunset. But sometimes, my wish can never come true. For instance, I want a good job, no hard work, good pay. Or I want to be some kind of famous athlete. Then I can just imagine because I work like a dog each day to make ends meet. and I don't have a body strong enough to break any record. There are the dreams that never come true to me.

I don't know anyone that has everything they want, many people believe they want something until they get it and then they don't want it anymore.

no.. if i do, i think i would be the most miserable person in the world. there are a lot of things that i wanted that are really not good for me. maybe until now. i'm still thankful that there's always someone who knows better.
