Or his cat i can add.
Pets give unconditional love; always. After a long day at work, you come home to find your pet waiting for you at the front door; excitedly jumping up and down at your arrival.
They are a comfort to kids when sick...how true can be this...
They comfort you in time of need like no other human.
Tell me do your cat or dog feel when you get sick? How they react?...If i have a pain my dog know instinctual where and he came near me and make me feel better...
It is your dog or cat same way?

i agree. pets are the most true friends you can have. we have 3 dogs, and its amazing when i wake up (im the first in this household) how they are waiting and hugging me. its a lovely time every morning. our lil dog ( the 2 others are my daughters dogs) is very caring. i am disabled and lots of time sick. when i start to cough or having breathe problems, he comes close to me and starts licking my hand.

Yes Augusta, I agree with you, dogs are very special friends. I never had cats, and so I can't speak about cats, but I have a nice doggy, and I can tell you that when I go on vacation, I miss my little dog very much.
When I come back home he is in the garden waiting for me, he enters my house with me and I cook a food for him and then we have a walk in the field. I love my dog, the only problem is that he lives so little....

yes, dogs are "mans best friend" as they will love you no matter what, Yesterday i had to have my pet dog "Penny" put to sleep as she had lung cancer, i'd had her for 11 years (thats Longer than i have my 2 kids), i miss her terribly, i have a hole in my life that can never be filled, she was the best dog that i ever had. I took her to the vet, and i was petting her head as she was put to sleep, it was very peaceful and pain free, i am at least glad of this as she was starting to be in pain from being sick, My wife & kids miss her too. I am sad, but she was too good a dog to be allowed to suffer, she gave us 11 Great years. I carved her name and date into the tree that she slept under in the back yard, as a memorial for my kids.

We had three animals in our family, my gf brought her dog and I brought mine to this happy equation and a cat rounded out our happy brood. My dog passed away yesterday and my heart is broken ,but to answer your question, yes they were allvery sweet that way, always pleased to see you, and always capable of giving good cheer.

I couldn't get enough of my dog when she was with me.From the time I'd wake up till the time I went to bed she would be with me whenever I was home.Yes, they have great instincts and somehow understand our moods even if they don't understand everything we say.I guess they use their intuition better than we do.

Well, everyone comes with a definite number of years against their name. They cease to live after that.

yes-whenever someone is sick in my house, the cats become glued to them.i'm not sure they entirely prefer 5 cats piled by them, but they mean well LOL
my calico favors my brother-he is her favorite person.she will sit at the end of the staircase 1 hour before he arrives.if he is late, she cusses him out.she knows the car noise ;)

i have a pet dog. and i feel sad whenever i go out of the house. i hear her cry and wanting to come with me.even if she's just a dog, i love her a lot and i know she loves me, too.
whenever i come back home, she is so happy... jumping around, wiggling her tail... reaching out to kiss my cheeks.
my dog is my bestfriend. she even knows when i am sad and happy and even sick.

I have a German Shepherd. She is really funny. When someone sneezes, she runs away. When we go outside she goes crazy by the door until we let her out with us. When we leave and take the car, we can hear her barking and crying inside the house. When we come home, she jumps all over the place. My cat doesn't seem to care when we leave, but when we come home he is always at the door with our dog. They are both very sweet.

Hi Augustta. We have a dog and yes, she is very energetic and exciting. Always jumps up or runs and bowls us all over, when shes been let off her chain. Really good with the children and she does seem to know when one of us maybe ill...

I once sick for one weeks at home. And my dog jump to my bed and sleep next to my bed for one weeks. She only went down to chasing a mouse, or to eat. Other than that, she sleep next to me. Everyday, she will wake me up with her hands on my hands or bark a little. LOL. It's great to have a great companion with you. Plus, although I know she may not understand a single word that I said, but she listen to me and moves her ear a little everytime i talked to her.

I love my dogs - they are my companions and don't judge me or care what I look like! I have one very naughty Jack Russell Terrier, but when i'm ill he really behaves himself and sits on my lap and keeps me warm! Bless him. lol

My dog is extremely loving. he's actually my father-in-law's dog but i've had him for a year and a half. He's become so posessive of me that if my husband and i are hugging or sitting next to eachother he comes running over and pushes my husband away from me. I think it's cute but my husband thinks it's annoying. My dog's a pitbull and he's actually a really good size. If something startles me and i scream or let out a squeal from shock he comes running over ready to jump to me aid. It's really endearing. When i'm feeling sick and stay in bed all day he refuses to leave the bed. He's gone entire days without going outside (or having an accident, i might add), just to stay with me until i got up and was okay.
