Are you eating out of boredom or depression? I do those things. I found a site that might help you. It has helped me alot. calorie-count.com It helps you track your calories. Tells you how many calories you need each day and helps you to make smart food choices.

I try to eat about every 2-3 hrs something small during the day. I find that this helps me to not be so hungry all of the time and I also get used to eating smaller portions this way. I prepare on my days off, celery sticks, carrot sticks, ... When I go to work, I prepare small amounts in little containers of vegies, wild berries, mostly blueberries because they're so antiaging and great antioxidants, and mini dried toasts with peanut butter on them, a handful of walnuts or almonds, a small box of raisins, ... These are the types of foods I eat regularly every day. For dinner, when I get home, I have a small portion of mashed potatoes, two cooked vegies and small piece of lean meat about the size of the palm of my hand, all placed in a pie-plate. This makes it look like so much more. I always reward myself often at the end of the day with only one Nestle kitkat or aero single 80-100 calories each with a decaf instant coffee. These taste great together! I drink a lot of water, get moderate exercise, green tea is also good. Most of all, I do things that make me happy. I surround myself with positive people.
