80 posts + 1 Discussion, Disgusting earning, i am disappointed

It is really very disappointing.You gave double the responses and earned just more then half the previous amount.But if myLot pays for the sentences in a response then as per your statements the day you posted 40 posts with about 10 sentences each , you posted 400 sentences and on the day you posted 80 posts with about 4 sentences each you posted 320 sentences.So you see the second one is much less then the day you got more , further for the posts with 10 sentences you must have been rated +ve by the members but for the responses 4 sentences or so they might have not rated you at all. Further I thing the payment criteria must be based on words rather then sentences as words are much more logical then sentence as sentence can have any number of words. I explanation I have given above is just what I think and I don't want to hurt you in any way, I know it hurts when we expect to earn more and actually get less.

It is normal to have a fluctuating earning in mylot,sometimes you earn more while you earn leess other time even you have similar numbers and quality of posts,I think the reason may be due to the delay of rating from the people you replied to. I think many members including me had some sort of problems logging in yesterday or even now, may be this is the reason they have not rated you yet, I am sure your rating will be increased after they rate you positively, your earning will be recognized finally,no worry, Keep up with your good quality replies and you will earn more,good luck.

Oh my friend, I can't give you a clear explanation about mylot's earnings. I've been spending less and less time here and never bothered to count the number of posts I did in a day. I also read on one of my friend's thread about her earnings. I guess it all depends on the responses you make. :0

No ideas man. I think the earnings here s*cks and get worse. That's one reason why I am posting less and less. I am basically just logging in to check PMs. :P

I know everything I post before midnight today will be in my earnings tomorrow around 7-8am CST. I have had the most earnings in one day, when I had a discussion that was doing very well, with many replies, along with about 20 of my own responses to other discussions. I normally make anywhere from 40 cents to the highest was just over 2 dollars a day. I do not spend massive amounts of time here, and I try to at least answer 20 discussions a day, sometimes more. I mad payout last month at @ $18 and this month I have @ $16 as of right now. For the amount of tiem I put in, I feel it's fair. I found some info below from Mylot itself and included a link if you want to check it out. myLot has a 24 hour earnings period from midnight to midnight in the United States Central Standard Time. So based on time zone differences your earnings may not update when you think they should and when you post it may be a day earlier or later. myLot tries to have earnings updated around the same time each day, however some days it may be earlier or later. From time to time it is necessary for myLot to recalculate earnings for the month to curb users trying to game the system. Our proprietary earnings algorithm periodically recalculates all estimated daily earnings for the previous month to take into account posts that have been deleted in the abuse and moderation processes. During the recalculation of earnings some users with lower-quality contributions will see a decrease. Any money deducted from users due to our abuse and moderation processes is then reallocated to myLot users based on certain qualitative factors. Due to this, earnings will fluctuate. myLot does not reward low-quality contributions, or even worse, attempts to game the earnings algorithm. my earnings go up and down,but it does seem like it dropped a little bit.i'm thinking of trying to add more pictures to suppliment somewhat and see if that helps. wow-i don't think i've made as much as $4 in a day yet.

You see mate... What mylot is looking for quality not quantity... I can understand that the quality of your post was not bad and so is the payout... Concentrating on posting more quality material and you will see your payout reaching mountains...

Yesterday I made $1.03 from 31 posts and 5 discussions. Each post was more than 5 sentences long with detail. If your aim is to make $4.00 a day you shoot shoot for 100 posts and maybe 7 discussions. Don't forget to include a picture as this helps to increase your earnings. My next goal is to shoot for $2.00 a day and this can be done easily with just 50 posts. The only thing is that it is time consuming and requires work on my part. I hope this helps and good luck!

It also disappoints me to learn that people here were able to make &1 or more. You know when I checked my earnings yesterday I found that the maximum $ I earned was $.70. I was actually comfortable with that not until I read this post. I don't have a choice, I don't have the luxury of time to spend here in my lot. Don't be too disappointed. I am worst than you.hehe LOL.

Anything is possible with this situation. Like someone else said, maybe it didn't get updated yet. Do you know what time your earnings get posted? I know that my earnings get posted between 8 and 830 am. So far like clock work. But see what time you get posted. I'm not sure if they update according to time zones or what, but you never know. This is all good, but I can see your frustration in the earning process. I've seen many discussions and comments about the fact that we are in the dark about how they pay. We just have to hang in there, and I'm sure the more we stick together and post discussions and comments about it, eventually something will change. Keep your heard up.

Hey friend, I too have noticed the big change in payment. I don't have time to post over about 40 questions/responses/best answers...so I only made about about .40 this time. This is so discouraging...especially since I try to go gack and respond to an answer that was given to my questions and choose best answers where apparently we are not paid at all. Seems like we are spending more and more time and getting less and less....what's up?

well for me you keep tryin hard to answer the discussion its really dissapointing... u didnt know what happend next time checked ur earning maybe it will increase... just be patience

people are saying now that longer posts get more money. I don't know because I haven't had the opportunity to look at it. I mean I post all the time, and sometimes I post small post, other time longer ones, but it is all in the same day, so I do not know if it is true that longer posts get more money. Also I make long sentences so does that count less because there are not that many sentences? Who knows, if someone knows for a fact, I wish they would tell me.

MyLot always pays for the quality postings. When you got less amount for your postings means your postings was not up to the mark of quality. Please try to post minimum 4 lines with quality postings and see the result.

your still very lucky pal. you still earn $1 or more in a day. Thats still a very good reward. Well i guess expectation really make us disspointed. Well me, as far as i remember the highest that i earned here in one day i $1.80 and i was thankful for that. The algorithm is not the same everyday but dont worry they adjust the earnings when its near payment. I wish i could earned like you in a day as i could only post 10-15 post a day. Dont think too much of it just enjoy what your doing here, thats more important and dont expect too much so it will not make you disapoint.

I think our earnings depends on how mylot admin rate our discussions or responses.I have my experiences in that also but i just dont mind it.I have my goals in posting or responding to a discussion i will just respond to atleast 20-40 discussions a day and i will be contented with my earnings then.

You know, it's weird, because right after Mylot went through the huge changes, the earnings hit an all time high, but now, they've dropped right back down again. I'm not sure why this is. Maybe it's because of the huge membership. I have no idea how Mylot work out our earnings based on our discussions and responses, but on days where I thought I'd done well, I found out I hadn't, and on days where I thought I hadn't done so well, I found out I'd done much better than expected. I think Mylot is kind of erratic with their payments and it kinda sucks. So many people are leaving because the earnings aren't consistent for each day.

I am sorry that you're disappointed on the earnings. I haven't really counted how many posts I make per day here but I did it the last two days because I figured that seems like a drop in the earnings. One day I did 10 responses and it was like 0.5 and one day I did 15 responses and it was like 0.3. *laughs*, I guess it's like what other members said that the earnings seem to make no sense. Well, maybe you could cut back a little time around here and cut down on the responses, use your time for some 10-liners responses and see what happens. I hope the earnings will get better for you because I am sure you work very hard on it.
