As you read the poem, be sure to read it out loud. :)
The Lost Dr. Seuss Poem
"I Love My Job"
I love my job, I love the pay
I love it more and more each day
I love my boss, he is the best
I love his boss and all the rest.
I love my office and its location, I hate to have to go on vacation.
I love my furniture, drab and grey, and piles of paper that grown each day.
I think my job is really swell, there's nothing else I love so well.
I love to work among my peers, I love their leers, and jeers and sneers.
I love my computer and its software, I hug it often though it won't care.
I love each program and every file, I'd love them more if they worked a while.
I'm happy to be here, I am, I am.
I'm the happiest slave of the Firm, I am
I love this work, I love these chores.
I love the meetings with deadly bores.
I love my job-I'll say it again-I even love those friendly men.
Those friendly men who've come today, In clean white coats to take me away.
I hope you enjoy. :) Speaking of work, what do you all do for a living???

lol. well i have a few jobs but the hardest and best of all at the same time is being a mom and a wife. my other jobs are i just started working at wal-mart as a inventory control manager. that one is kind of fun in some ways. then there is the online stuff as well. i am a home school teacher too. if we really think about us we have alot of jobs we just dont get paid cash for some of them instead we get to watch a life grow and become an adult. sometimes i feel like a maid, driver, cook, referre how ever you spell that, shopper, planner, nurse, and so many more things. it isnt what we do in life for a job that pays money that really counts it is what we do that we dont get paid for that in the end will be the one thing we look back on and get the best rewards.

Great poem. To answer your question about " What is your job in life?" Personally I consider my job in life is to help people and make others laugh so they may be happy and at least have a happy day. Being a christian, (not very religious) I find there's always a purpose. I found out my purpose when I started acting for plays in church and making others laugh. In regards to helping people, since I was a teenager, my job had always been in the helping other field for lifeguarding to massage therapist and now an EFL teacher. I like my job, and now I'm looking to expand myself and teach others to help others. Nice topic.
