What's so bad about downloading music.

The record compaines make millions of dollars a month on record purcahses and arist yet they lobby to make downloading music illegal.People have been doing it for years so whats the big deal.

Hmmmmmm... let's see. If you were a musician and made a song that was a huge hit, and you made about 10 cents per download on like walmart or something... and got millions of downloads without people downloading illegally, you would be rich. Now imagine the fact that not even 1/10 of the people who download pay for the song, so you would only get 1/10 of your pay. That might not seem so bad, but it makes a difference between getting 100000 off of a song and 1 million off of a song XD
