What advice can you offer for talking a 5 month old on a plane? My family will be flying from Atlanta to Miami and I hear babies cry a lot because of the pressure on their ears. If any of you have experience flying with a baby or is there any advice you can offer for what I can do or take with me, please help! Thanks!

That is not always the case but if your baby fusses, definitely try to feed her during take off and landing. It also helps to have lots of toys (make sure they are not ones that make a lot of noise!!!) and snacks. If you can, try to keep your baby awake before boarding the plane so that she'll be tired and sleep through most of your journey. Try to request for the front seat just behind 1st class (assuming you're flying economy?). The front row has more leg room and they also have a place to attach a bassinet for your baby to sleep in. Try and make all these requests when booking the flight. Don't be anxious and enjoy the flight. If you're anxious, the baby will sense it too.

I will have a first class ticket, but there is a place for a bassinet?!?!? Surely didn't know that! Thanks a bunch!
