Saving coins

Yes, I had same habit when I was a young girl. I would put every coin I got in the piggy. Then day after day, month after month, the piggy became heavier and heavier. We could not draw coins out of the piggy because it only had a little groove to put coin in. Then one day, when we wanted to buy something we were looking forward for long time, we had to break it to get all the coins out. It's a very interesting memory for grown ups who had this habit in their childhoods.

i think it depends on the persons hobbie. some person take coin collection as hobby. i also include in that group i used to put some coins inside a pot after comming for the college. because i want to buy a bicycle i used to calculate the money every day. After i reach enough amout i will brough a bicyle and again also i will put money in the pot for some other things

Me too.I have do it for a long time during my childhood.but i can not fing the saving box now.And i have not any interesting to collect the coins after geting a job.

Yes my wife and I always save our coins every day. In fact we gave it to our eldest daughter and we teach her how to save at young age of 2.She has her saving box and she is very happy putting some coins in it everyday.

What I can suggest is to allocate a certain amount into your bank every month for savings so you won't touch it. If you can't see it, it's less likely you'll touch it right? Just like food, if you don't see it you won't eat it as much as if they were right infront of you everyday. Good luck. -Swapw

Having a habit of saving is very good. You will end up with plenty of money. Good for you that you started young and still on the learning years that helps a lot. Remember many rich people from rugs most of them started by saving a single coins everyday. I also do that. I believe on the saying that the most important in business is NOT WHAT YOU HAVE, BUT WHAT YOU SAVED FROM WHAT YOU HAVE.

I try to save all of my change myself. It adds up after a long while.

Yes i do, indeed im saving right now.We do have two piggy banks to be filled by coins.And my wallet always have coins coz i believe that if your wallet is not empty even just by coins you do have still money.
